One thing was clear in the aftermath of the two national political conventions last week: California played a larger role for the Democrats than for the Republicans.
Lisa Gritzner, president of the storied Los Angeles public consulting firm Cerrell and Associates, appeared on NBC4's program, "News Conference," to discuss the state's importance to the two parties.
Gritzner said that the Democrats had made a point of highlighting politicians from the Golden State like Attorney General Kamala Harris, whom she called "a rock star."
