If you're a guitar nerd, or aspire to be one, you might consider checking out the Bay Area World Guitar Show on January 11-12 at Marin Center in San Rafael.
The gathering is a time to buy, sell and trade guitars and amps, with no limit on how much stuff you can bring to do any of these actions. It's open to amateurs and entry-level enthusiasts, who have an opportunity to discover professional sellers, manufacturers, collectors and other seasoned exhibitors.
Admission to the family-friendly event is $20 for adults; children 11 and under are free.
