Chicago producer, label head, and DJ Derrick Carter is one of electronic music's great treasures, and luckily he loves to play in San Francisco. He'll spin at the weekly party Housepitality at F8 alongside residents Miguel Solari, Tyrel Williams, Mike Bee, and Joel Conway on July 3.
Housepitality has its own loyal following on Wednesdays but this is definitely a special occasion that will draw out dancers from old and jaded corners of the dance community. Carter's appeal transcends generations of the house music faithful and also bridges into the younger EDM community just discovering his "boompty boomp" for the first time.
