Huey Lewis and The News Album at 30

Band performs at Mountain Winery on July 27

Back in 1983, Huey Lewis and the News were representing San Francisco to the world via a smash pop album called Sports. 30 years later, the group is still performing live shows anchored by this important release.

By 1984, the record had reached the top of the Billboard charts and has gone on to sell more than seven million copies. Four anthemic singles from Sports reached the top 10, including "The Heart of Rock & Roll," "I Want a New Drug," "If This Is It," and "Heart and Soul."

The band moved out of the area a few years back but is returning to mark the occasion with a live performance at the Mountain Winery on July 27.
