The San Francisco Album Project Covers Radiohead

Classic album performed by drag queens

Imagine the music of Radiohead as interpreted by a band of gender illusionists. The San Francisco Album Project is a monthly event where drag queens perform a classic album from the past 50 years live on stage. This month's installment, which takes place on July 14 at the Chapel, takes on Radiohead's OK Computer.

Conceived by local luminary Peaches Christ, who famously hosts raucous movie screenings and other outrageous special events, the San Francisco Album Project kicked off with a rendition of Yaz's seminal synthpop record Upstairs at Eric's and now moves on to something a bit more modern and ambitious.

Featured performers for OK Computer include Trixxie Carr, Nikki Sixx Mile, Precious Moments, and Stanley Frank Sensation. These sessions are performed one time only, so it'd be a drag if you missed it.
