“Beat L.A.” to Fly High Over Dodgers

Normal 0 Opening Day for the World Champion San Francisco Giants may be in enemy territory, but thanks to some generous fans, it will feel like home in one very visible way.

The Examiner is reporting that a mystery group raised the money needed to fly a huge "Beat L.A." flag over Dodgers stadium Monday night.

A group that calls itself Faithful Supporters of The World Champion San Francisco Giants is the genius behind the idea. They came up with the plan a couple months ago and raised the needed $8,000 just in time.

The Examiner said this will not be a one-time fly-by. The plane is apparently going to fly around for one hour and twenty minutes.

For Giants fans, that will be an awesome sight to see tonight on ESPN. First pitch is just after 5 p.m.
