Fans swarmed the Giants Dugout to buy the limited number of hats and t-shirts that went on sale once the Giants win became official.
The San Francisco Giants are going to the World Series to take on the Detroit Tigers.
“This is awesome It’s going to be exciting to play Detroit. It's going to be fun," one fan said.
Fans who didn’t have a ticket for Monday's game came to AT&T Park anyway. Some of them hung out inside nearby stores and coffee shops others cheered the team on from Pete's Tavern across the street.
"I don’t have a ticket. Just got off work. Talked my boss into letting me off early. I just wanted to come down here and breath the Giants air. Love this. Love it,” Giants fan Lisa Gomez said.
