Giants Go to Bat for Bryan Stow

The San Francisco Giants are holding fundraisers at three home games this week to support Bryan Stow, the Giants fan who was severely beaten after a game in Los Angeles in 2011.

Fans who buy tickets in certain sections of AT&T Park for games tonight, Thursday and Sunday will have $10 of their ticket price donated to the Bryan Stow Fund.

The Giants play the Los Angeles Dodgers today through Thursday and then the San Diego Padres for their last three games of the season Friday through Sunday.

Fans who buy tickets in the View Reserve Infield Section for today's and Thursday's 7:15 p.m. games against the Dodgers or in the View Reserve Left Field Section for Sunday's 1:05 p.m. game against the Padres will receive a "mystery item" from previous Giants giveaway days along with having money donated in support of Stow.

The Santa Cruz-area paramedic and father of two suffered a severe head injury in an attack on March 31, 2011, after the Giants' season opener at Dodger Stadium.

After a long period in a rehabilitation facility, Stow has been recovering at home for the past several months and continues to suffer from a variety of physical problems and memory loss, according to updates his family has been posting on the website www.support4bryanstow.com.
