Giants starting pitcher Ryan Vogelsong spent part of a rare off day with Safeway shoppers.
RyVo took part in a Bank of America event in the City where he surprised fans with photos and freebies Thursday. Many BofA branches are inside Safeways.
Buster Posey made a similar appearance earlier in the season.
BofA is an official sponsor of the Giants as well as Major League Baseball.
The bank kicked off a 1, 2, 3 incentive for its customers (get the baseball pun).
BankAmericard Cash Rewards customers will automatically earn 1 percent cash back on all purchases, 2 percent cash back on grocery store purchases, and 3 percent on gas station purchases. The grocery and gas purchases only come off the first $1,500.
