VIDEO: Mike Krukow Sings ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame'

Mike Krukow, the current Giants color commentator for CSN Bay Area, is best known for his success with the Giants from 1983 to 1989.

But he was originally drafted by the Chicago Cubs (in the eighth round), and pitched at Wrigley Field for the first six years of his career, piling up 45 wins.

When the Giants returned to Wrigley for their weekend series, he received arguably the highest honor that a visitor to Wrigley can get: singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch.

You'll note in the video below -- via 22 Gigantes -- that even though Krukow sang the late-game anthem, he didn't give the Cubs any love with the traditional "Root, root, root for the Cub-bies!" line.

Instead, he just pushes the mic to the crowd.

Really, the whole thing is just fantastic -- not only did the Cubs hook him up with an honor almost exclusively reserved for Cubs fans, but Krukow managed to keep from looking like he might not totally be on board with the other home team.
