New Napa Valley Welcome Center Debuts

VISITOR STOP: Let's be honest: Few things in this world can trump a friendly and well-literatured welcome center, especially if you've just arrived in a new town for the first time, without a guidebook or clue to your name. And, let's be honest: More cities could invest in such centers, or invest a bit more in the centers they do have (although we're noting an uptick in the care and feeding of welcome centers across California). Leading the charge on awesome welcome-center-ness will surely be the brand-spankin'-shiny-fresh Napa Valley Welcome Center, which just debuted at 600 Main Street in Napa.

YEP, BARRELS: The NVWC is likely one of the few welcome centers with wine barrels inside of it, but of course there should be wine barrels inside of it. There are also brochures and maps and Napa-made goods for sale, like olive oils and such. Again, olive oil? Not found at too many welcome centers. Stop by and take a look-see next time you're Napa-ing. And, while you're at it, visit every welcome center while on the road. Keep 'em going, because they're essential, helpful, and, well, welcoming.
