Spend your summer Sunday afternoons enjoying tunes galore, beginning on June 17, 2018.

WHILE SUNDAY EVENINGS... are sometimes deemed as challenging, as we wrap up our weekend pursuits, pack our lunches for the days ahead, do our laundry, and, if we're seriously up and at 'em, tidy our homes, Sunday afternoon attracts no such labels or brow-furrowing. PEABO BRYSON & JEFFERY OSBORNE, the season openers on June 17, and Ziggy Marley and Flavia Coelho the following Sunday, June 24. Mexican Institute of Sound, Anoushka Shankar, Ronnie Spector and the Ronettes are all on the roster, too, as well as several more great artists and acts. There are ten Sunday shows in all, as well as a bevy of programs and outreach events, including KidStage happenings, plus a caboodle of other summer-sweet to-dos happening in the grove. And while the freeness of the Sunday shows is certainly very sweet, it also means that spots can fill up, so take the first-come, first-served idea to heart before setting out, with your picnic blanket, for 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.
