Wing it for the Walnut Creek animal center on Thursday, Oct. 25 for a host of before-Halloween happenings.

THE DAYS LEADING UP TO HALLOWEEN, as a rule, aren't all that trick-filled, but you may come across a whole caboodle of treats, as in the fun and experiential kinds, if you know where to look.
