SWEET SHARKS: Shark Days and Shark Week and Shark Month, whether those events are happening at an aquarium or on television, are some of our favorite times of the year. Of course, every day is Shark Day for sharks -- lucky -- but humans get to join in the sharkage at the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Saturday, Feb. 12 and Sunday, Feb. 13.
FACE PAINTING: Ohhhh yeah. We know some kids that will go for some really sharky teeth (wise move, kids). The days will also include "shark stories" from aquarium staffers and other finly fun. And if you haven't yet found your Valentine's activity, and your sweetie gravitates toward the waves, this could be your perfect go-out.
