    SPOTTING A RABBIT... hopping among the redwoods? It could happen, for sure, if you're able to take your peepers off the highest branches of the tall trees, which isn't the easiest thing to do. After all, these stunning sky-reachers silently demand that we gaze upward, in awe, while marveling at their height and beauty, and rabbits, as a rule, don't frequent the upper limbs of, well, anything, loving the ground and protective warrens, as they do. (And, true, to say that the redwoods "demand" anything of us is to misread the redwoods' regal character; rather, let's just say that the redwoods easily compel us to ceaselessly admire them.) So how does rabbit-loving, redwoods-obsessed person find a long-of-ear cutie while out in the bramble and brush? The easiest answer, of course, is to find a bunny, the biggest of bunnies, on the famous Skunk Train of Mendocino County. It so happens that the on-the-move attraction invites a certain Mr. E.     SUNDAY, APRIL 1: That's when the Easter Express takes to the historic tracks, delivering, as its so charmingly does, a caboodle of cuteness that's perfectly attuned to the holiday. As mentioned, the Easter Bunny will make a cameo, but there are other delights suited to the spring-nice occasion, like "a special Easter cupcake" (for sure, gluten-free is a possibility) and pink lemonade to sip. There are two different Easter trains, with a one-hour excursion based at Fort Bragg and a two-hour trip leaving from Willits, so best decide which one suits you and your family.
