HALLOWEEN 2017... events are up now, meaning you can plan your beyond-the-veil sojourn to the San Diego landmark. There's a Whaley House Ghost Hunting Tour to join on Oct. 13, 14, 20, and 21, while "The Spectre of Edgar Allen Poe" will call upon the home on Sunday, Oct. 15 for "two riveting performances." Fancy a night of silent film (of the scary sort)? Be there on Oct. 25. And a number of nighttime doings, including a late-night event on Halloween, are ahead for the final five days of the month. What's your shivery pleasure? Straight-up history, about first owner Thomas Whaley and his family, or tales of all of the many (many many) sightings that have occurred under the home's roof? Find your way into the frightful season via these Whaley House events.
