United Way Day of Action

United Way Silicon Valley’s Day of Action is a call for people from the community and corporations to come together to create change in our local neighborhoods. Take action and participate in fun-filled volunteer activities designed to help local children (pre-school to 3rd grade) gain the skills needed to be successful in school.

Type of Work:
Volunteers are needed to help beautify one of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley centers for the summer.
The building currently has blotches of different colored paint due to past issues with graffiti. Volunteer will help to paint the exterior all one shade in order to make the center a more pleasant and safe environment for the kids.
Volunteer will also plant flowers and plants in a small garden in front of the center.
Overall, volunteers will help make this center more colorful and inviting in their neighborhood.
