California Attorney General Rob Bonta on Wednesday is joining a rally hosted by crime victims demanding solutions to a rise in violence.
Bonta will also be joined by Oscar Grant's mother and leading state legislators.
The rally will be held at 11 a.m. on the west steps of California's State Capitol in Sacramento.
