The newly revived Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS)- Santa Clara Valley Chapter is hosting its Filipino American History Month called “1946 and 2016: A Turning Point.” Join them for a night of traditional and contemporary cultural entertainment, refreshments, and celebration of the 429th Anniversary of the arrival Filipinos in the United States on October 18, 1587.
The theme was chosen to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of several notable events and pieces of legislation that transformed the lives of Filipinos in the Philippines and in the United States in 1946.
