Friends of Faith, Inc. is celebrating their 20th anniversary and is having a dance party, 20 Shades of Pink, benefitting the Faith Fancher Breast Cancer Emergency Fund. The "think pink" dress up and dance contest is on Saturday evening, August 26th at Oakland Marriott City Center.
The event will have food, prizes, and live music by The Wall Street Band, as well as DJ Russell Gatewood. There will be a VIP reception serving hor's doeuvres and pink champagne with a chance to meet celebrity guests.
NBC Bay Area's very own reporter Cheryl Hurd is participating in the program and is one of many Bay Area media professionals dedicated to keeping Faith Fancher's dream alive of helping those who do not have the resources in the battle with breast cancer.
Money raised is donated as soon as it comes in and there is always a waiting list. In order for the Fund to keep up with the need, Friends of Faith is working to raise as much money as they can to make sure the emergency fund continues at the Women's Cancer Resource Center.
Friends of Faith Fancher will be celebrating 20 years in this special evening of fun!
