2019 Bay Area Heart Walk

The American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk season is about to start in the Bay Area, kicking off with the San Francisco event on Friday, Sept. 13 at Embarcadero Plaza.

The festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. with a health fair. A stage program followed by the walk is scheduled to start at noon. Join emcee Janelle Wang, evening anchor for NBC Bay Area, for a lively Friday celebrating wellness and heart health. Special guests include Bruce Bochy of the San Francisco Giants.
Heart walks across the country have raised funds for critical research as well as programs such as CPR in Schools and Spanish language outreach, monitoring high blood pressure and other chronic cardiovascular issues. Join us. By raising your heart rate you’ll be helping to raise funds and awareness in the fight against cardiovascular disease.
