American Bon Dancing: In Joy and Remembrance
All are welcome to join in the outdoor circle dancing and an afternoon of Obon Songs, dances, and stories. It is a celebration of Rev. Yoshio Iwanaga’s introduction of Bon Dancing in the continental U.S. 88 years ago. This exhibition was curated by Dr. Wynn Kiyama and is part of a traveling workshop series on Bon Dancing in the continental United States. This event is free and all are welcome to join.
