Join NBC Bay Area's Robert Honda at Asian Health Services Gala celebrating 40 years of service in the community. The September 27th dinner event is being held at the renowned Paramount Theatre in Oakland. The night's entertainment will be provided by Hiroshima.
The 2010 Grammy-nominated Hiroshima creates a truly original sound. Featuring the luscious sound of June Kuramoto's koto, and the interwoven fabrics of Jazz, Japan, Salsa and more. After 30 years in the business the band continues to push the envelope and remain innovative, genuine, and extraordinary.
The mission of Asian Health Services is to serve and advocate for the medically underserved, including the immigrant and refugee Asian community, and to assure equal access to health care services regardless of income, insurance status, language, or culture.
