Dance lovers, casual dancers, and those curious to learn – Bay Area Dance Week is for all. Returning to the Bay Area for the 17th year, BADW runs throughout San Francisco, East Bay, North Bay and South Bay with more than 400 free events for all who want to dive into dance. From dance studio to proscenium stage, city park to street corner, dance is everywhere during this fun-filled 10-day festival.
BADW begins on April 24th and kicks off with Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout Program’s One Dance in San Francisco’s Union Square at 12noon. Anyone can participate in One Dance where they will learn a short dance sequence featuring iconic dances to pop songs from the 1970s to today. Throughout the rest of the festival, the public can attend free events all over the Bay Area that teach love and appreciation for dance and bring all kinds of dancers together as one.
