CAAMFest 2015 Opening Night & Gala

CAAMFest, formerly known as the SF International Asian American Film Festival, is returning to San Francisco with this year’s opening night on March 12, 2015. CAAMFest is committed to finding new talent, new voices, new stories and new visions to bring together for a special festival including films, music, food and more. This year’s festival will feature seven films that received CAAM Media Fund support.

Opening night of CAAMFest 2015 presents the Red Carpet Premier of SEOUL SEARCHING, a stunning new film chronicling the shenanigans and personal journeys of a group of Korean teens from around the globe who are enrolled in a government-sponsored summer program. Korean American Filmmaker and director of the film, Benson Lee, was inspired by his own experiences as a teenager to make SEOUL SEARCHING.

After the film’s premier, the CAAMFest 2015 Opening Night Gala will be at the Asian Are Museum of San Francisco. Indulge yourself in savories and sweets created by some of the Bay Area’s finest and most generous restaurants and food purveyors while grabbing a signature Remy Martin cocktail and getting down with local DJs.
