Saffron Indian Bistro, located in San Carlos, is family friendly and a go-to for locals looking for authentic Indian cuisine. Not only do they offer a weekday lunch buffet, the restaurant also presents a brunch menu on Sundays that includes a wide range of flavorful and modern dishes including Masala Tats, Indian Spiced Fried Chicken & Waffle and Saffron’s famous Butter Chicken.
Rasa Contemporary Indian, located in Burlingame, offers a more upscale dining service along with the modern menu. With multiple dosas and uthappams to choose from, its Micheline Star seasonal menu is full of farmers market fresh ingredients. A few favorite dishes include the Seasonal Vegetable Curry, Genovese Basil Dosa and Bombay Sliders.
Both locations are owned by Ajay Walia, a successful entrepreneur who is passionate about combining Indian traditions with modern flavors.
