Get ready for one of the Bay Area's biggest events, Cinequest! The curtains will raise on March 4, ready to bring audiences an impressive lineup of global films, artists, and technologies for this year's festival. Apart from introducing new and exciting movies, Cinequest is planning an array of celebrations to bring to San Jose.
Cinequest 24 is kicking off the festival with a opening night screening and party. The night begins with a screening of the comedy The Grand Seduction. The film is about a village of misfits in need of jobs and a conniving plot to find a new town doctor, mixed with a bit of romance and a lot of laughs. Starring Brendan Gleeson (Harry Potter), Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights), and Liane Balaban (Supernatural). The celebration will continue with an Opening Night Party at The Glass House, and Maverick Award Presentation to cell phone creator Marty Cooper.
