Clear the Shelters with East Bay SPCA

The East Bay SPCA will be one of over 50 Bay Area shelters and 700 shelters nationwide participating in the Clear the Shelters event on August 19 at their two locations! While they found a lot of success in their efforts last year, they are looking to raise the bar even higher this year.

“Last year, the East Bay SPCA adopted out 89 animals to their new homes during Clear the Shelters, nearly double that of our first year in this initiative,” said Allison Lindquist, East Bay SPCA President and CEO. “This year, our goal is to exceed more than 100 animal adoptions from our locations!”

NBC Bay Area's Jessica Aguirre will be live at East Bay SPCA in Dublin for the 8pm newscast. Along with showcasing adoptable pets, the Dublin location will also include a family festival, featuring children's crafts, games, vendor booths, and food trucks!
