The Guadalupe River Park Conservancy invites you to join their next Family Science workshop: Guadalupe Geocachers on Saturday, October 25. This workshop is an exciting class about geography, navigation, and geocaching. Bring your friends and family to travel back in time to learn about ancient navigation and then jump back to the modern world to learn about how we navigate today using Global Positioning Systems.
You will get to work in teams together to use handheld GPS units, provided by the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, to determine your latitude and longitude in the park, find educational treasure boxes, and solve fun geography puzzles.
