Celebrate 100 years at one of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s premier sites since 2013 with 18 acres of magnificent beauty nestled in the hills of Saratoga overlooking Silicon Valley! Come take a leisurely stroll around the koi pond, ascend the moon bridge, or enjoy a cup of tea overlooking the architectural and botanical beauty. NBC’s very own Robert Handa will be the event emcee. There will be a Welcome Reception including hor d’oeuvres, sake, wine, and intimate garden dinner. Entertainment by Roy & PJ Hairabayshi, the directors of the local San Jose Taiko.
This timeless oasis of peace is available for booking your special event like weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and family celebrations. Hakone also offers Docent-led tours and traditional tea ceremonies in our tatami mat rooms which are a wonderful way to enhance your visit to our gardens. They also offer many annual cultural festivals which showcase ancient civilizations from throughout Asia.
