The National Asian Pacific Islander Prosecutors Association, or NAPIPA, is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Scholarship Banquet on April 11, 2015. NAPIPA is a professional organization dedicated to promoting justice and to advancing the interests of prosecutors of Asian and Pacific-Islander heritage. They advocate for fairness, equality and justice for victims of crime, for the criminally accused, for those working within the criminal justice system, and for the community at large.
This year, NAPIPA will award scholarships of $1,000 each to two deserving law students. U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara will be in attendance at the Scholarship Banquet as the ceremony’s keynote speaker. Goodwin Liu, California Supreme Court Justice, is also being honored at the banquet, receiving honorary membership to NAPIPA.
