PAL Music Festival 2018

PAL's biggest days of the summer start on Friday with the Journey Tribute band Journey Revisited, while Saturday features some of the Bay Area's hottest bands, starting off with the Country Rock of Toree McGee & Rodeo House Band; the Hot Salsa of Orquesta Pacheco; the high energy sounds of LiveWire; the Blues of Maxx Cabello Jr.; and the Reggae of Bayonics to wind up the day.
Saturday's festival brings fun activities for all ages, including a special Kid Zone sponsored by Facebook Community, along with a youth stage, providing a platform for young, aspiring Bay Area musicians to perform. Redwood City is a city known for celebrating diversity, and PAL also seeks to engage the different cultures and age groups that make this city great.
The PAL Music Festival will serve up some of Northern California's finest BBQ offerings, to satisfy even the most discerning barbecue officiando's tastes. Plus, the unique artist booths of ART on the Square will fill the square with stunning art on Friday evening and all day on Saturday. It's a great way to enjoy a beautiful summer day, reveling in Redwood City's glorious weather, and savoring great Music, Art, food, drink and the community!

With new programs and a new vision, leading to the re-branding of the organization, PAL seeks to tell a new story about its mission. The updated logo, which still showcases the police star/badge at the bottom, signifies the historical foundation of the organization. This year's PAL Music Festival is the perfect opportunity to embrace these changes, and to engage a wider audience. Proceeds from this event will help support PAL's educational and recreational summer programs for children.

The Redwood City Police Activity League (PAL) proudly presents the PAL MUSIC FESTIVAL 2018, at Courthouse Square in Downtown Redwood City on Friday July 27th and Saturday July 28th. Boasting a new look, along with a new mission, PAL is pleased to offer the public this newly-branded free music festival, by broadening the scope and opening up to genres beyond the blues, from country and reggae, to Salsa and more!
