Located in San Francisco's historic Castro district, the Rainbow Honor Walk seeks to honor heroines and heroes of the LGBT community through a sidewalk tribute to honor their contributions.
The Walk is also an attraction at the annual Castro Street Fair every first Sunday of October. The Castro Street Fair is a community street celebration that was founded by Harvey Milk in 1974. Hundreds of local artists, craftspeople, vendors and organizations line the streets to celebrate the diversity of the Castro.
