San Francisco Wine School is hosting this year's Anniversary Celebration & Auction with Luxury Wine Weekend benefiting the Glancy Wine Education Fund! On October 21, this event is sure to be a can't-miss for wine connoisseurs from far and wide!
The day will begin with a pairing competition, where wine experts will offer their picks on the best pairings for dishes offered by luxury chef Danae McLaughlin. In addition, VIP attendees will have first crack at limited tastings and bottles for sale at the Luxury Wine Bazaar.
The Bazaar will then open to all attendees. Stroll around at your own pace, table-to-table, and taste wines from different regions, soils, climates, and elevations. Their Wine Service Olympics will also be performing, and sure to bring some light-hearted entertainment to the venue (which pairs well with a good pinot noir, sources say)!
The Glancy Wine Education Fund believes that every student should have the necessary resources to become proficient in their field. This is why, in 2016, they provided $45,000 to 17 scholarship recipients for financial aid to attend the San Francisco Wine School. This year, their goal is to double that.
