Dog Adoptions and Adoption Counseling
Visit the dogs at Pup Plaza who are searching for their forever homes! The unique space at SVPP’s Pup Plaza allows you to hang out with adoptable dogs in a comfortable environment so you can see their real personalities and they can get to know you too! Check this website to see who will be attending any given Saturday or send an email to adoptions@svpetproject.org if you are interested in meeting one at Pup Plaza.
Not yet ready to adopt, or have questions about the ideal dog for you and your family? Stop by during one of the adoption events and chat with staff about what you are looking for, and they can provide some pointers and great resources to find that perfect canine companion for you!

Silicon Valley Dog Lovers Meetup - Small Dog Social
Pup Plaza's fenced patio will be open for a small dog social! Bring your pint-sized pup by for a chance to meet other similarly sized dogs and have them socialize in a supervised and constructive environment! Dogs must be four months or older, under 30 pounds, current on vaccinations and not aggressive. Sometimes excitement gets the better of our furry friends, but let's make this a positive experience for everyone!

Doga at Pup Plaza
Participants will learn about bonding with their dogs through Doga. While guiding the yoga practice, the Doga instructor will provide moments throughout the class for participants to bond, reward and breathe with their dogs. The instructor will provide suggested cues for the leash and various opportunities during class to check-in and reconnect with their dogs.

Paint Your Pup at Pup Plaza
Unleash your inner Pup-casso! You’ll create your own, one-of-a-kind acrylic pup portrait on canvas, done in a style inspired by American Pop Artist Andy Warhol. The instructor will walk you through each step of the process - from transferring your pup's image to the canvas with graphite, to painting the background, to painting the main features of your pup, and the finishing details. You will use vibrant, non-toxic acrylic paints. No artistic experience is necessary!
Before the class begins, you will need you to email a high-resolution digital photo of your pup. Uncropped, full-body shots with uncluttered backgrounds work best.
