Silicon Valley Pride
The Silicon Valley Pride Parade and Festival is back on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26. The theme for the 43rd anniversary is Unity. Diversity. Strength. The weekend begins with a Trans and Friends Rally at 4:30 p.m., followed by a Night Festival. There will be four zones featured at the night festival: Under the Sea, Enchanted Forest, Good vs Evil (Heaven and Hell), and Space Odyssey. The event showcases the Bay Area’s top DJs.
The festivities continue on Sunday, August 26th at 10 a.m. with a parade along Market Street to Julian Street and ends at the main entrance of the festival. There will be dance performers, local artists and live entertainment following the parade. 
The event is family friendly, featuring Family Garden and High-Tech Pavilion which includes video games and other high-tech products. There will also be food vendors and a cocktail lounge. Tickets for the festival are $5 at the door.
