The Berkeley Kite Festival is celebrating 30 years of family and fun this weekend, August 25-26, 2015. With activities for the whole family to enjoy, the Berkeley Kite Festival has grown a reputation as one of the premier free family festivals on the West Coast.
Enjoy free kite making, a candy drop, free kite lessons, a giant kite creature expo, a rokkaku competition, great food and music. Also see the Kite Team of Japan or fly a kite with a team of your own. In the Kid's Zone, there will be bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, art and crafts, and face painting.
