Tri-City Health Center is hosting its inaugural 5k Walk for Wellness in downtown Fremont. This fun and family-friendly event supports Tri-City Health Center’s eight Fremont clinics, which provide comprehensive primary, dental, behavioral health, vision and other services. Your support helps raise funds to provide affordable, patient-centered healthcare for everyone – especially those in our community with the least access to care – in the tri-city area of Fremont, Newark and Union City. Booths and exhibitor tables for the 5K walk will be housed at Fremont’s Town Fair Plaza, an eclectic temporary community space in the city’s downtown area. The plaza has kid-friendly areas, including table tennis, mini golf, bocce ball, and a basketball court. Participants will pass through Fremont’s developing downtown, a growing pedestrian-friendly public area with a mixture of street-level commercial, retail, civic uses and public open spaces.
