This Saturday, September 15th from 9 am to 3 pm, NBC Bay Area's Garvin Thomas will host the 2nd Annual Bay Area Proud Blood Drive at the Princeton Plaza Mall in San Jose (corner of Kooser and Meridian).
Last year's drive was a tremendous success: 120 people were able to donate, including 34 first-time donors! We would love to surpass those totals this year, but we need your help to do so.
If you are able and willing to donate blood, Go to the Bay Area Proud Blood Drive website and click "Make an Appointment Online." From there, you can reserve a time that is convenient for you to come by.
If you are not comfortable with donating blood, there are other ways you can help make the drive a success. If you'd like to donate some food to help feed our donors and volunteers that would be greatly appreciated. Just send an email to garvin.thomas@nbcuni.com.
