It takes a team to meet the needs of the visually impaired. San Rafael based, Guide Dogs for the Blind has been serving the visually impaired since 1942 through a robust network of trainers, puppy raisers, donors, volunteers, and incredible guides. Support the organization's efforts alongside spokesperson Betty White, by attending the annual Guide Dogs for the Blind gala Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Presidio in San Francisco.
The organization’s efforts give visually impaired individuals the opportunity to lead full and rewarding lives. This year’s event will have a “Pupper Club,” theme. More than 14,000 teams have graduated from Guide Dogs for the Blind and there are approximately 2,200 active teams in the field.
