Autism Speaks, the world's largest leading autism science and advocacy organization, is hosting the Autism Speaks Walk in Walnut Creek at Heather Farm on November 4.
The Autism Speaks Walk is the largest fundraising event to enhance the lives of people with autism today and accelerate research. Funds raised help fuel innovation for solutions and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services. The East Bay event will include a 1-mile walk and a 5K walk.
Alpha Xi Delta is the North American sponsor of all Autism Speaks Walks, and the Alpha Xi Delta chapter at Sonoma State University will be supporting the East Bay Walk.
