Help pack meals for AIDS/HIV patients on Nov 4 in San Jose

Help pack food for AIDS Services

The Food Basket is The Health Trust’s food pantry program that provides an array for food to low income clients and families with young children currently enrolled or on a waiting list with our Meals On Wheels, AIDS Services and Family Resource Center programs. The goals of the program are to increase availability, affordability, knowledge, and consumption of healthful food. Meal and grocery delivery services are also available for homebound clients who are unable to come in to the Food Basket.

Volunteers are needed to provide healthy groceries and meals to our clients. Friday Night Pack Out is a great opportunity for volunteer groups and those with busy schedules during the week. Volunteers interested in committing some more time to the program might also consider participating as a volunteer driver, or a personal shopper for clients coming in to pick up groceries during Food Basket business hours.
