Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. is the provider for Meals On Wheels in So. San Mateo County- delivering hot nutritious meals to eligible seniors and disabled adults who are unable to shop or prepare food. Each year Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. prepares over 150,000 hot meals, Mondays-Fridays. Volunteer drivers pick up meals from our kitchen at Little House Activity Center in Menlo Park and deliver to routes from Belmont to E. Palo Alto, using their own cars and gas. Most volunteers are scheduled for one day/week, making 10-15 deliveries and checking in on a homebound person.
