Weeding at the MLK Jr. Shoreline in Oakland

Did you know that even the prettiest of flowers could be an invasive species? Do you know the best way to remove radish or fennel? Find out!

Come volunteer at the Martin Luther King Jr. Shoreline in Oakland on July 14 with field educators who are experts on weeding. Not only will you learn about the enviornment , but you can also contribute by removing invasives and keeping our environment clean.

Due to the sensitive nature of the restoration site, space is limited and RSVP is requested. If you have filled out a form on one of our partner websites it does not mean that you will be included in our event. You must fill out the online registration form below to register yourself or a group of 9 people or less.
