Great Glass Pumpkin Patch at Palo Alto Art Center

The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch at the Palo Alto Art Center returns for its 23rd consecutive year as the largest glass pumpkin patch of its kind in Northern California Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30, with a wide selection of handmade glass pumpkins, glass-blowing demonstrations, family-friendly activities, refreshments and more!

"The sale weekend for the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch gives attendees the opportunity to view and purchase the pumpkins at the same time, rather than gaze desirously at artwork the week before and have to wait to buy their favorite glass creations," said Damon Gustafson, executive director of the Bay Area Glass Institute (BAGI). "We're also focusing on creating a fun family event this year, with glassblowing demonstrations, a caricature artist and hot dogs."

During this free, family-friendly autumn celebration, visitors are invited to wander through an outdoor installation of more than 10,000 unique glass pumpkins available for purchase.

Our artists will wow the crowds with live glassblowing demonstrations all weekend! Come enjoy some hot, molten glass every half hour between 11am and 4pm

WHEN: September 29 & 30, 2018 / 10am-5pm
