NBC Bay Area Today in the Bay anchor Marcus Washington will be the Emcee for the 38th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Luncheon in San Jose! Dr. Emmett D. Carson, founding CEO of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, will be the event's keynote speaker.
Under Dr. Carson's leadership, SVCF grew to over $8.2 billion in assets, making it the largest community foundation in the nation, and sees its money and efforts make a difference locally, nationally, and around the world.
Awards for local community leaders will also be awarded.
