NBC Bay Area is proud to announce their nationwide adoption effort, Clear the Shelters 2015. On Saturday, August 15, 2015, shelters across the country are teaming up with their local NBC stations to empty the shelters and get every adoptable animal into loving homes. In your community, NBC Bay Area has partnered with 39 shelters across all nine Bay Area counties to find homes for every adoptable animal in shelter and rescue care.
With the goal of getting every animal adopted, adoption fees will be waived or reduced depending on shelter location from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the day of Clear the Shelters.
