Berkeley Humane will host a "celebrity" star-studded red-carpet event with some of the biggest names in local adoptable animals like Kitty Purry, Clint Eastwoof, Oprah Whisker, Kim Katdashian-West, or Neil Pawtrick Harris!
On Saturday, August 11th, this pre-party builds excitement in hopes to find a home for some animals a week early of the big event, Bark (& Meow) Around the Block adopt-a-thon on Saturday, August 18.
This year is the 6th annual Bark (& Meow) Around the Block adopt-a-thon and street fair with more than 100 dogs and cats available from Berkeley Humane with adoption fees waived. All available animals are cleared medically, including vaccinations, spaying or neutering, flea control, worm treatments, and microchipping.
Well-behaved pets are more than welcome at the events, so long as they are harnessed and leashed.
