The Heroes Run is back this Saturday, November 7, ready for another family-friendly 5K Run/Walk at the Cupertino Civic Center. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite super hero or simply come out and support the real heroes in their life. For the third annual Heroes Run this event includes prizes for the best kids’ costumes and fun for all the family. NBC’s very own Robert Handa will be the emcee of this family fun run.
This event has grown in popularity to help raise awareness for a great cause. The Sheriff’s Heroes Run was established to help support the Valley Medical Center pediatric unit to give children in dire need proper care and assistance.
