Taste of Potrero is San Francisco’s premier food gala that features unique and delicious tastes from the city’s star chefs. It is an evening filled with food, drinks and fun that was first started in 2010 by Adam Zolot when his child was facing losing public education in the neighborhood they love so much. Taste of Potrero has become an annual food lover’s fundraiser for public education in Potrero Hill. The proceeds benefit Daniel Webster Elementary School, a school that has been saved from closure twice.
This year, Taste of Potrero will be held at Pier 70 and will feature over 40 local restaurants and bars who are showcasing their delectable items for a good cause. There are two ticket options for this event: General Admission which permits entry to the event at 7:00 PM with open bar and endless tastes or VIP Admission which includes an additional hour of private access to all food and drink beginning at 6:00 PM, plus a private tasting room with waiter service and exclusive restaurants and spirits.
